Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using The Forever Note. By checking the agreement box and proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Permanent and Irreversible Transactions
All notes submitted through The Forever Note are written to the Bitcoin blockchain using the OP_RETURN opcode. Once a transaction is broadcast and confirmed, it cannot be deleted, modified, or reversed under any circumstances. We have no ability to remove your note after it has been submitted.
2. Your Responsibility for Note Content
You are solely responsible for the content of the note you submit. By using this service, you agree that you will not submit notes that:
- Are unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
- Infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
- Contain personal information of any individual without their consent
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
You assume full legal responsibility for any content you write to the blockchain.
3. No Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. Because Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and our service is fulfilled immediately upon payment, we are unable to issue refunds once a checkout session has been completed and the transaction has been submitted to the network.
If a technical error on our end prevents your note from being written to the blockchain after payment is received, please contact us and we will investigate and attempt to resubmit the transaction at no additional charge.
4. Service Availability
We make no guarantee of continuous or uninterrupted service availability. Bitcoin network congestion, third-party API outages, or other factors outside our control may delay or prevent transaction submission. We are not liable for any losses arising from service downtime or delays.
5. Fees
The flat fee of $25.00 USD covers the Bitcoin network transaction fee and our service fee. Fees are charged in US dollars via Stripe. Bitcoin network fees are subject to change; however, the price you are shown at checkout is the price you will pay.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Forever Note is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that transactions will be confirmed within any particular timeframe.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Forever Note and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or financial loss.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
